March 31, 2023, Letter to Friends and Families

We appreciate that you entrust us with the care of your loved ones and thank you for your patience and cooperation.

We are monitoring the latest news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as the latest COVID-19 infection control guidance with relation to its impact on our residents and visitors.

Visitation Guidelines are located in the COVID information page on our website and copies are related our reception desks.  Please note our visitation guidelines have not changed.  Visits still need to occur in your loved one’s room on nursing units or if your resident is able to come down you can visit in the common areas on 1st floor only.   Please refer to the guidelines for specific details.  Your cooperation in complying with visitation guidelines is most appreciated.

Thank you for supporting our mitigation efforts in vaccinations, masking and socially distancing.  We are continuing to follow CDC and department of health guidance related to contact tracing, isolation and testing that are specific for nursing home settings.  Please be vigilant when you come into to visit as our county and most locations in our state remains in a high rate of transmission.

Please note – We are making a change in our process moving forward we will be using the call in line as our method of providing you with the cumulative numbers of on COVID positive test results.    We will continue to send out email blasts and letters to alert you of other major news related to our building from time to time, however at this time are discontinuing sending out weekly statistical numbers on COVID via email and regular mail on Fridays.

We will continue to use our call in line at 570-207-6711 for Covid information.  This information is updated daily when we have new positive results.  Family members and all others impacted by the virus will be contacted directly and provided with results and updates.    The script of our call in message will be posted on each nursing unit as well for our residents to have access to our COVID positive numbers.

Our priority is the protection of our residents, staff and families at our facility. If you have any questions, we are always available for you.
