Dear Friends and families,
We thank you for your continued support through the COVID-19 pandemic. Our main goal remains to provide high-quality care and to keep your loved ones safe.
Our guidance from state and federal governing bodies continues to change rapidly. We are continuing to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Department of Health guidelines with regard to infection control policies and procedures for prevention and mitigation of COVID-19.
We are continuing with weekly COVID-19 testing of staff and residents. Staff testing was completed on November 2nd and 3rd this week with all negative results.
We currently have no active cases of COVID in our resident group. We retested all of our residents again this week on Thursday. We should have all results for our resident group back by Sunday. If all are negative we will be able to open back up to in person visits by Monday, November 16.
Jewish Home staff will continue to receive weekly testing after that time while Lackawanna County positivity rate remains above 5%. Please note that test results are reported on our daily call in line at 570-207-6711.

We encourage staff to maintain social distancing, use caution when attending gatherings, wear a mask and practice hand hygiene while at work and home. Test results are reported on our daily call in line at 570-207-6711. Specific details on our reopening plan is listed on https://jhep.org.

Beautician – Our beautician is scheduled to return to return back to providing services in our building on Monday, November 9, 2020.
