October 14, 2022, Letter to Friends and Families

We appreciate that you entrust us with the care of your loved ones and thank you for your patience and cooperation. Our priority is the protection of our residents, staff and families at our facility.

We are monitoring the latest news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as the latest COVID-19 infection control guidance with relation to its impact on our residents and visitors .

We updated our visitation guidelines to reflect our name change and some minor formatting changes.  A copy is attached and can be found on our website at Visitation Guidelines

Thank you for supporting our mitigation efforts in vaccinations, masking and socially distancing.      As you know, we have had some had some positive residents and staff on our third floor.  Positive residents are isolating on our 4th floor unit.  Thankfully symptoms are mild.    We are continuing to follow CDC and department of health guidance related to contact tracing, isolation and testing that are specific for nursing home settings.    Please be vigilant when you come into to visit as our county and most locations in our state remains in a high rate of transmission.

Please check your mail/email for new COVID booster consents as the CDC has now recommended that everyone receive the new bivalent vaccine that will also include protection against the omicron variant.
