Good news! All staff and resident testing for COVID this week came back negative! We still have one more round of testing to complete for both groups next week due to the reported positive COVID-19 results from one of our residents transferred to the hospital last weekend.
As a result we are following our protocol and suspending general visits in accordance with our visitation policy. Compassionate care/end of life visits are still being held in accordance with policy.
Testing for all of our residents will be conducted on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, and all staff will be tested on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
We have placed all units in yellow status at this time. Large group activities have been cancelled as well as beautician/barber appointments. While we have had to adjust our activity schedules, our residents are still enjoying individual activities and visits with our staff. Provided we continue to have negative tests we will be able to open back up for visitation on Monday, May 24, 2021
