We found out yesterday that a resident of our facility who was transferred to a local hospital, tested positive for COVID 19. As a result, we are following our protocol and suspending general visits in accordance with our visitation policy. Compassionate care/end of life visits will still be held in accordance with policy.
Testing for all of our residents and staff will be conducted on Wednesday August 4, 2021.
We have placed our third floor unit on yellow status. Large group activities have been cancelled as well as beautician/barber appointments until full house testing is completed. While we have had to adjust our activity schedules, our residents are still enjoying individual activities and visits with our staff.
