This our first weekly letter going out under our new name, Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab, A Jewish Senior Life Community! Over the next several months, we will be transitioning our business name to Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab, A Jewish Senior Life Community, and updating all of our various business communications accordingly. You were sent a separate letter on this explaining the name change as part of the rebranding of our full continuum of care. We appreciate your patience through this transition and your continued and ongoing confidence in our care of you and your loved one.
We are monitoring the latest news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as the latest COVID-19 infection control guidance with relation to its impact on our residents and visitors. Our Visitation Guidelines are located in the COVID information page on our website.

There were no resident positives this week. One staff member tested positive since last week’s letter. Thank you for supporting our mitigation efforts in vaccinations, masking and socially distancing. We are continuing to follow CDC and department of health guidance related to contact tracing, isolation and testing that are specific for nursing home settings.

- Please note that test results are reported on our call-in line at 570-207-6711 which is updated daily when we have new positive results. Family members and all others impacted by the virus will be contacted directly and provided with results and updates.
