Other News:

We are excited to share that our plan for renovation of second floor is scheduled to start shortly.     Our plan is to convert this unit to our short term admission area where we will be bring new admissions into our building.  In addition we are adding an inpatient dialysis unit which will be exclusively for our residents without having to travel into the community.   We are doing this to meet the needs of our changing community.

In order to continue safe operations for our residents, our plans is to close this unit to complete the renovations.   To that end, the time is just about here to start our renovations.   There are 17 residents on second floor who will be moved to open rooms on fourth and fifth floors.    In an effort to take the time and perform the resident room transfers to both 4th and 5th floor methodically, we are planning to transfer half of the second floor residents on Tuesday, April 12th, and the other half on Wednesday, April 13th. We will have our moving team in action between 10am and 4pm – avoiding resident lunch time.  All of our dedicated 2nd floor staff will be relocating to both 4th and 5th floors.

We have reached out individually to each resident and his or her designated representative who are impacted by these room changes to alert them of the date of the changes.

Our priority is the protection of our residents, staff and families at our facility. We appreciate that you entrust us with the care of your loved ones and thank you for your patience and cooperation. If you have any questions, we are always available for you.

Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Mary Rose Applegate, MBA, RD, NHA
