We are proud to note that our COVID-19 vaccination rate is among the best for health facilities in our area and continue to encourage vaccinations by the general population in a quest for overall herd immunity, which experts place at 70-to-80 percent of the United States population.
At Elan Gardens, we have 90% of our facility vaccinated.
Regarding our visitation policy, we are monitoring the county’s positivity rates and, in the event of any new positive results, modified visitation restrictions will be implemented and there will be immediate notifications of changes to visitation schedules. Guidance from Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be followed.
We encourage all to remain diligent and, in addition to getting vaccinated, make sure to wear a mask, practice surface and hand hygiene, and use social distancing.
